The DMZ Stock Company was established on September 9th, 2008. However, the DMZ logo was officially launched into the business on August 12th, 2008. About its significance, "DMZ" is presented in green screen, referred to plants at poor countryside of Quang Tri province. The outer edge forming the image of logo shows the trace of explosive ordnance which was impacting on vegetation and the broke-out direction demonstrates the level of devastation of mine in the war.
Logo with three letters in the DMZ is the acronym of the word "Demilitarized Zone". It refers to the non-military place located on the shores of Ben Hai river and Hien Luong bridge. There was no any sign of war and ordnance but peace in this area. Green also said to be significant for a land on which plants can grow up and develop in a green and bright day.... |
